This stunning hand blown glass dragon figurine is a one-of-a-kind work by Kevin Prochaska, Disneyland glass blower for 10 years.
The dragon sculpture is made from borosilicate crystal and trimmed with 24k gold which is then is mounted on amethyst crystal geode, where he boldly stands above the treasure below, fiercely protecting the amethyst crystals from marauders and thieves. Swarovski cut crystal eyes stare fearlessly upon you whilst the dragon’s powerful wings bring the total height to 7½ inches. The vibrant rainbow of colors, including violet, pink, purple and blue, is magically created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten.
This figurine of a winged dragon is made entirely by hand without the use of molds or machines. The imported amethyst base is carefully hand selected to complement each individual piece and each piece is signed by the artist upon its completion.
