Standing 9.5 inches tall with a deep red color, this lovely Chinese Dragon Vase is made from premium resin in the Cinnabar style.
The original cast was hand carved in Thailand and has incredible detail of a Chinese dragon, flowers, leaves and other elaborate decorations. This Cinnabar reproduction vase is watertight so it can be used for flowers or simply leave it empty and show it in a prominent position for all to admire.

About Cinnibar
Cinnabar (or cinnabarite) is the bright scarlet to brick-red form of mercury sulfide. It is the most common source ore for refining elemental mercury, and historically is the source for the bright red or scarlet pigment known as vermilion and associated red mercury pigments.
Cinnabar has been used for its red color since ancient times. It has been used as a rouge-type cosmetic, and in China it was used in coloring stoneware. A popular known use of cinnabar is in Chinese carved lacquerware, a technique that is believed to have originated in the Song dynasty (960 AD to 1279 AD).
